Souchaku Henshin Series Kamen Rider G4 was released by Bandai-Asia when they reissued SH Agito figures in 2002. SH version of G4 was never produced by Bandai Japan during its original run. G4 was a new Rider character from Masked Rider Agito : Project G4 movie. (It has became sort of tradition now to make movie for the TV series and often a new movie only characters would get introduced).

Masked Rider G4 was new version of G3 system built by JSDF (Japan Self-Defense Force) using the stolen G3 plan. G4 was basically a mixture of G3 and G3-X armors with new color scheme. The armor color was change to gray and the mask was remolded to resemble G4 head which was differed from both G3 and G3-X. The mold for the toy seem to suffer some fatigue and both the armors and figures fitting were becoming quite loose in this edition.

Souchaku Henshin Series Masked Rider G4 (HK Version)

Bandai-Asia released Masked Rider G4 from Agito Series when they reissued Agito SH toys in 2002. G4 was not sold originally by Bandai Japan and was produced exclusively for Hong Kong market.

 SHS G4 was later sold in Japan as Chogokin SHS GD-50 in 2003.

Unmasked Mode

Like other SH Riders figures, the human body underneath can look out of proportion and was solely intended for display with the "cloth" (Rider's Armor) on. The core body was similar style body used since the original Saint Seiya Cloth line which made it a little dated by today standard. However, this was one of the aspect that drawn me to this line. The ability to "henshin" into the Rider form made the SH figure a lot like small version of Henshin Cyborg and RAH costume hero. 

The figure can be display with the "masked" removed and show a human head. Like other Souchaku Henshin, the armor pieces can be removed to reveal a core human body.

G4 came packaged with Gigant Missile launcher and GM-01 R4 Machine Gun.
