OUJA

Bandai released GD-77 Kamen Rider Ouja in January of 2005 as part of Chogokin Souchaku-Henshin series. Ouja (also spells as Ohja or Oyja) means king cobra in Japanese. He is one of the thirteen Kamen Riders from Ryuki series. Ouja contract monster is Venosnaker, a cobra-like monster from the Mirror World. Ouja is the most ruthless and violence of the Ryuki Riders since his alter ego is a psychotic killer.

SH Kamen Rider Ouja use the standard Kamen Rider Ryuki core body. His armor is metallic purple (which is not quite show accurate) but do looks very nice. The paint job is a bit of an improvement over Raia. His armor comes in two parts with plastic armors that snap over the "chogokin" chest armor. He comes with his visor (Advent card reader) and his strike vent weapon "Veno Saber".

GD-77 Souchaku Henshin Series Kamen Rider Ryuki - Masked Rider Ouja

Release Date : Jan. 2005

Price : 2000 Yen

Unmasked Mode

Like other SH Riders figures, the human body underneath can look out of proportion and is solely intended for display with the "cloth" (Rider Armor) on. The core body is similar in style as the body used since the original Saint Seiya Cloth line, however for the 2004 SH line, Bandai have retooled the body to make it more modern. While the head still appears too small due to having to accommodate the mask, this removable "armor suit" however, is one of the aspect that drawn me to this line. The ability to "henshin" into the Rider form make these SH figures a lot like small version of Henshin Cyborg or the RAH costume hero.

Accessories

Ouja comes with his sword - "Veno Saber" and his snake scepter - "Veno Visor" along with three miniature Advent cards.

R&M SERIES - RM4 Ouja & Genocider

Bandai originally released R&M series as the main action-figure toys for Ryuki when the show was first air in Japan back in 2002. R&M is a set of figures that include a Kamen Rider figure (regular 5" figure without the armor feature of SH series) and his contract monster or monsters in the case of Ouja. R&M4 set feature Ouja and his contract monster Venosnaker and his two "capture" monster Metalgelas and Evildiver. The monsters in this set are able to combine together and form "Genocider". Bandai reissue R&M series in 2005 when Ryuki was aired in Hong Kong. The monsters from R&M can be use with SH series of Ryuki figure. However, in 2005 Bandai also release a new series of Souchaku Henshin call "Mirror Monster Set" and reissued retool some of the R&M monsters along with new monsters that were previously unavailable.
