MASKED RIDER AGITO BURNING FORM

Kamen Rider Agito Burning Form was originally released by Bandai (Japan) with the Shining Form Set. When Bandai-Asia re-released Souchaku-Henshin Series for Hong Kong market, they split up most of the set into single unit. The HK set consisted of the PVC "Burning" chest armor that intended to be use over the die-cast (Chogokin) armor from the Shining set, to simulate the fact that Shining Form emerge from the Burning Form. Beside the PVC armor the set also came with the PVC wrist armors and shin armors. Without the Shining Armor piece the only die-cast armor part of this Burning Form set was the Agito's Rider Belt.

Burning Mode (along with Shining Mode) was one of the more elaborate mode of Agito where the armor design changed considerably from the Ground Mode. (His initial mode) Overall, the toy was very nice and gave a good representation of Agito in Burning Mode. The PVC Burning Armor can be used with or without the die-cast Shining chest piece and it fit fine either way. (It do fit a little more snugly with the die-cast Shining part and look a little better to me). The paint job was nicely done and the figure looks great on display. One thing I do notice was the leg joint on the HK figure seem to be more loose than all the Japan version but overall it was solidly made. I really like the slip-on wrist and shin armors as it gave the figure a much better overall appearance than the bulky and the incomplete appearance of the die-cast wrist armors.

Agito Burning Form Set

Bandai-Asia released Agito Burning Form as a single set. This set was originally sold as part of the Shining/Burning set. The Shining Set was sold separately. The set came with another "core" body and the chest armor, although intended to be used with Shining Armor, the Burning Armor can be used by itself, and with the extra core body one can display both Shining and Burning Form together.

Naked Mode

Since Bandai-Asia split the Shining / Burning Set as two separate set, the Burning set came with human core body. Like other SH Riders figures, the body looks out of proportion and was solely intended for display with the "cloth" (Rider Armor) on. The core body was similar style body used since the original Saint Seiya Cloth line which made it a little dated by today standard. However, this was one of the aspect that drawn me to this line. The ability to "henshin" into the Rider form made these SH figures a lot like small version of Henshin Cyborg and RAH costume hero.

Weapon Accessories

Burning Form Agito came with two Shining Caliburs one in "Single Mode" and another in the folded up "Emerging Mode". (The "Twin Mode" of Shining Calibur was included with the Shining Form Set)

Agito Shining Form

Since Bandai-Asia split the original release of GD-40 Agito Shining into two separate set and the Burning Armor was the other half of the set.
