KUUGA MIGHTY FORM

Kamen Rider Kuuga Set No. 1 Kuuga Mighty & Growing Form was released by Bandai in Spring of 2000. This was the debut set for Souchaku Henshin Masked Rider Kuuga series and also debut set for Chogokin Souchaku Henshin line. The set was sold as starter or basic set for SH Kuuga and come with the core human body that were not included with Set No.2 and Set No.3. The set came with Kuuga Mighty Form red armor and also included his Growing Form white armor as bonus. The set also came with clear red static body so both armors can be displayed. Bandai also included display stand for the figure. When Bandai Asia reissued this set in 2001, they omitted the Growing Form armor and sold Mighty Form as single individual set, but the Growing Form was never reissued by Bandai-Asia.

Kuuga Mighty Form was his flame armor form and his standard form. Until the later Rising Form, Kuuga usually emerged in this form. Mighty Form was Kuuga hand to hand combat form and thus came with no weapon unlike the Dragon, Pegasus and Titan Forms. In addition to Mighty Form, the set also included Kuuga Growing Form. The Growing Form was when Godai (human identity of Kuuga) first transformed into Kuuga and his power had yet to fully manifested. He also reversed to this form when he was exhausted of his energy. This form only appeared in the couple of the episodes which probably why Bandai Asia decided not to reissue this particular armor set. Growing Form came with its own set of helmet armor and henshin belt since in this form Kuuga has shot horns and orange belt buckle (match his eye's color).

SH Series Kuuga Set No.1

Bandai released Kuuga Mighty Form as Chogokin SHS GD-21. This was the first basic set for SH Kuuga and came with core body along with extra "Growing Form" armor.

 

 HK EDITION

Bandai-Asia later reissued Kuuga Mighty Form as GD-21 but this edition the Growing Form armors, figure stand and clear body place holder were removed. 

Unmasked Mode

Kuuga Mighty Set No.1 was sold as the "basic" set for SH Kuuga series. In order to get the core body one had to purchase set No.1. The set also came with additional clear static red place holder body so both set of armors can be displayed.

Accessory

Since Mighty Form was Kuuga hand to hand combat form, he did not have weapon. Bandai did include the stand and background.
