FIX #0002 PF-78-1 PERFECT GUNDAM

Back view of PF-78-1.  The figure came with shoulder cannon mount on to the backpack..  Note the details on the backpack, shield, booster and double beam gun.

PF-78-1 can be converted back to the basic RX-78 Gundam.  This was "Ver.Ka" redesign of the venerable RX-78.  The "dual" identifies seem to be the trademark of many FIX Gundam figures.

GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION #0002 PF-78-1 PERFECT GUNDAM

EFSF MODEL # PF-78-1 ARMAMENT: 60mmVULCAN X 2, SHOULDER CANNON, DOUBLE BEAM GUN, BEAM SAVER, AND MINE LAYER UNIT.

FA-78-01 was the second figure in the FIX Figuration Series.  Like the first figure (Full Armor Gundam), Perfect Gundam came with super detail parts and decent paint job but the figure lack articulations.  The armor parts fit well overall except for the lower legs armor due to the materials being used (PVC) and the parts suffer some warping.  The shoulder cannon and the double beam gun also suffered the same warping problem.  This can be fix by submerge the parts in hot water and bend it back to shape.   The poor fitting of the leg armors really detracted from other wise well design and nice looking Gundam.

PF-78-1 FULL PERFECT GUNDAM WAS ANOTHER FIX GUNDAM THAT CAME  FROM BANDAI'S "EXPANDED UNIVERSE" MODEL KITS LINE CALLED 'GUNDAM MSV' (MOBILE SUIT VARIATIONS).  THE MSV SERIES WAS BANDAI WAY TO POPULATE THE GUNDAM UNIVERSE WITH MORE REALISTIC WAR MACHINES BY INTRODUCING NEW VARIANTS AND UPGRADE OF THE BASIC FIGURE DESIGNS.  THE MSV WAS INSPIRED BY WORKS OF GUNDAM FAN KIT-BASH DESIGNS AND CUSTOMIZATION OF GUNDAM KITS WHICH WERE MADE POPULAR BY MANGA CALLED 'PLAMO-KYO SHIRO'  - A STORY ABOUT ROBOT MODEL KIT DUEL COMPETITION.   PF-78-1 ALSO APPEARED IN THIS MANGA.

GFF #0002 PF-78-1 Perfect Gundam came packaged in beautiful FIX style window box with all the armors pieces displayed.
