Back view OF RX-78GP01.  The figure came with optional rear mount for the Beam Bazooka.  Note the super detail on the engine backpack. 

GP01 came with two beam saber (one of a few figures in FIX series to come with saber weapon) and a 90mm MG19 Machine Gun.   The set also came with long range Beam Sniper Rifle (not shown here)

GP01'S shield were molded in two separate parts and can be displayed in the 'retracted' mode.  Like other figure in the FIX series, GP01 was decorated with marking, insignia and 'tailcode' in Katoki tradition.  GP01 sported various marking, EFSF (Earth Federation Space Force) insignia and AE (Anaheim Electronic) GP01 insignia to denote its prototype 'Gundam Project 01' status.  The figure also had several "AL" tailcode markings to signify that this Mobile Suit was attached to Albion Assault Carrier.

GP01 WAS ONE OF THE FOUR GUNDAM PROTOTYPES DESIGN UNDER THE "GUNDAM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT"  BY ANAHEIM ELECTRONIC .  OF THE FOUR DESIGNS ONLY THREE WERE BUILD - GP02 PHYSALIS, WHICH WAS STOLEN BY ZEON LOYALIST AND ACE PILOT ANAVEL GATO, GP01 ZEPHYRANTHES AND GP03 STAMEN.  THE FOURTH DESIGN WAS GP04 GERBERA .  GP01 APPEARED IN GUNDAM OVA SERIES 'MS GUNDAM 0083: STARDUST MEMORY'
