Reissue
Rescue Microman M254 Stuart and M275 Richard were the last
of the e-Hobby Rescue Microman set. M254 was never reissued by
Takara back in 1999 when Takara was reissuing the M25X Type and M275 Richard
was skipped when M27X figures were reissued in 2002 since there were
five members in the M27X team and e-Hobby Rescue were sold in set of
two. Takara had renamed M254 to Stuart
(he was previously named Wayne by Romando and originally was released
without a name in 1980 as pack-in figure for Microman Rolling Thunder
vehicle). Like Romando reissued version, M254 did not come with
the chest sticker that came with vintage M254. Vintage M275 was
originally sold only with the Rescue Bird 3-4-5 vehicle. |
